People give Nine so much shit for this.
But…..he’s a shell-shocked war vet for God’s sake. What happened the LAST time he was in this situation is still fresh in his mind. But he didn’t need to shed blood to defeat his oldest and deadliest enemy this time. It would’ve been the objectively simpler thing to do. But he stuck to his code and that makes him a very, very brave man.

Every morning, for my son’s enthusiastic state, I play the Disney Music station I found on Pandora radio. Now, every single time without fail, when the song “I’ll make a man out of you” from Mulan plays and it gets to the chorus, I find myself singing along to “You must be swift as a weeping angel, with all the force of the great Judoon, with all the strength of a raging Dalek, mysterious as the dark side of an Ood…”
Then I sorta blush to myself, and keep singing the rest of the song as the songwriters of Mulan intended.
